The Survey
Rapid Boiler Hire conducted a free boiler hire survey to assess options, if making use of the site’s existing gas network was possible it would help mitigate the need to look at oil-based fuel. A cap had been installed during the heat pump installation, which meant gas would be ok, two hot tap 2-inch valved tees were quoted and installed that same day.
The Solution
The solution, a Rapid Gas fired 300kW high-efficiency temporary boiler was installed in the evening, all enabling work was carried out in line with Gas Safety regulations and the boiler was installed at a safe distance from the building to comply with the clean air requirements of the Mechanical Estimator.
